It is operated by Statoil. The project will produce 60,000 barrels of oil/day and 9 million cubic meters of gas/day at plateau capacity.
The development of this offshore oil and natural gas field in shallow water depths of 120 m includes a floating storage and offloading vessel (FSO).
The shuttle tanker Randgrid will be converted into the Gina Krog FSO. Major conversion works include installation of a new helideck, hull reinforcements, refurbishment of submersible turret loading (STL) compartment, installation of offshore crane, loading hose reel package, azimuth thruster and replacement of two generators, as well as associated piping and additional cabling works and a new living quarter decks on the vessel.
ROCKWOOL Technical Insulation is supplying SeaRox fire rated insulation for the living quarters.
