SASREF Modernization and Expansion

AUDI Aramco Shell Refinery's expansion project. The project's scope of work involves the modernization and expansion of the oil refinery located at Jubail Industrial City, Jubail, Saudi Arabia. The goal of the project is to attain the operating flexibility needed to generate maximum returns through sustainable fuel production, which meets Euro V regulations for cleaner emissions. The principal products manufactured at the facility include gasoline, diesel, jet fuel/kerosene, fuel oil, naphtha and liquefied petroleum gas. Shell and Saudi Aramco each own a 50-per cent stake in this refinery, which began commercial production in 1985 and boasts a 305,000 barrel per day capacity. Engineering and construction is done by McDermott and ROCKWOOL Technical Insulation is supplying to contractor ANC via our distributor in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
