Prelude FLNG

It is the largest vessel ever made. It is 488 meters long, 74 meters wide and made with more than 260,000 tons of steel. In operation, it would weigh more than 600,000 tons, more than five times the weight of the largest aircraft carrier. ROCKWOOL Technical Insulation is supplying thermal insulation like Pipe Sections for the process piping and Wired Mats for the vessels onboard. The hull was launched in December 2013.
